Better late than never 08/24/2019 A must for jazz lovers !! Berlin unique. Great and cozy neighborhood pub with live music 5 times a week. A beer garden is available in the warm season. Good cuisine and an extensive selection of drinks leave nothing to be desired.

Everything here as always, and that's a compliment. Original 70s, you can't imitate it. Food good and plentiful. Music also good if it's not Dixie. All in all: feel-good bar! Hopefully things will continue (properly) soon! Hold on (because of Corona)! We will be back!

Very nice, quaint bar. Friendly wait staff and we had a great evening with an excellent live band. Definitely to be recommended.

Much more than a traditional "Echkneipe" with an atmospheric interior and a cute beer garden. A place EVERYONE must have been to at least once because of the diverse visitors, the live music, the nice service, the delicious cuisine ... and and and ... a wonderfully colorful mix

Sunday afternoon is splendid. Trad jazz. No be bop or Miles but great piano by Earnie’s Sontag cocktail. Loved it.

A great shop, with nice staff, good food and fair prices. We find it particularly nice that, despite Corona, music is played and lived there.

The crowd is terrible when there are concerts, social distance is a fiction, beer is nice, drinks too, onion is tolerable, the interior is worn-out in terms of equipment and bathrooms, but ..... CLIMATE, ATMOSPHERE, MUSIC unique. Mira waitress Mira is an extra three stars

Very cool place with old but in a good way vibes. Jazz live music concerts every evenings. I was on a good concert with older guys playing but they did it more than great. Prices for the drinks okay. One star minus cause I've ordered a kakao and it was cold!! Very sweet, that's good but unfortunetaly cold. If not this fantastic music and vibes then this kakao would be a no go. So place for sure worth to come but just don't drink a kakao 😂

Super quirky jazz bar with a great beer garden at the back and a few tables outside at the front. A very reasonable Germanic food menu. A good local beer selection.

Very, very unfriendly, we are here because of a very well-known Brazilian singer and good friend of ours, and we were kicked out for lack of a mask, even though half of the audience, if not all of them, had no mask on. And when I say everyone I mean the bartender too. The main thing is to make monkeys 🤷‍♂️

Atmospheric and historic Berlin venue. We didn't come across it during a live music night. If you are looking for a place with lots of stories and personality then you are on the right track. A few more modernizations would have been convenient, but who wants modernity when a place is teeming with history?

Cozy pub with a good terrace. You can eat well for a small amount.

A very interesting location, with a "PUB" design inside and a shady and cool garden. The prices are normal and a friendly services. From Menu: coffee, beers, desert, Flammkuchen and more.

Such a great place in Berlin! In the summer the gardens outside are great to drink beer with friends.Inside that's where you watch cool music. Overall it's a very hip bar that will never disappoint! I highly recommend it to come here at night if you are in the area!

The atmosphere is great, and the variety of bands and music cover various tastes. There were many that we would like to watch, we are definitely visiting again. The food could use some improvement thought, but a big variety there too. When the weather is good the garden is a nice option.

The Yorksschlösschen was the first pub that I got to know about 8 years ago in Berlin. I just think it's super cozy and quaint there. The background music in the form of the many live performances is just great. The service has always been attentive, quick and friendly. Here you can have an honest beer and have a nice evening with friends! The food is simple and good. However, the other aspects mentioned above attract me to Yorkschlösschen rather than the menu. Here, however, everyone should see for themselves. Definitely a place to recommend. At concerts you should actually reserve a table in advance.

Wonderful old jazz bar where you can enjoy a locally brewed beer and live music in a buzzing and often busy spot. The decor is eclectic and really makes the place that bit more special.

Great live music

I went to this bar when visiting Berlin with a friend. The barman helped us order in German, because we are useless at German and was really accommodating and taught us some German! I hope he remembers the two English guys who drank lots of beer and tried to refuse the english menu!

Amazing stay. Great live music. Very nice and kind staff and great drinks and beer.

Lovely place

Second time there, it is pity that we couldn't find a place to sit or we would have enjoyed much more. Nice environment, live jazz music, would recommend.

I love this place, great spot with beautiful atmosphere! The concerts schedule is usually excellent and brunches at weekends are very interesting. If you love music, it's a place to visit.

We booked a table for two to watch a blues live performance. When we got there they did not have a table for us and they seated us on a long table with 6 other people, with no explanation and no apologies. Not really the romantic experience my girlfriend and I had in mind. EDIT: To respond to the owner, I think the main complaint of my review is due to the lack of communication (gotta translate from German unfortunately): 1. When we called for the booking, we were told we would get a table for two 2. When we arrived, it seemed that our booking got lost and that it was thanks to luck that there were two free seats next to the group of 6 3. We were not asked whether that would've been a good option and no apologies were offered neither If we were told from the beginning that there was the chance we would be seated next to another group, we could've made an informed decision and potentially we would've enjoyed the "great social event" due to us knowing what the setting would be like. Never hurts being communicative with your customers!

Wonderful place with nice and friendly staff ,good food but more than that Music was awesome. It was a very first and nice experience and definitely I will recommended to the people who find them self in Berlin!Wunderschön!! P.S. if you are not a nice person...stay far of that place!

The bar itself was so soecial, but with Jazz concert, it was magically changed. The staff were nice, concert in that bar was super! I would like to visit again!

I went there with my girlfriend to celebrate my birthday. The place was quite busy but the music was splendid. We absolutely loved the music and service.

BEST PLACE EVER

Place full of character and music

Seems a cute place, but the staff is rude. Even though we booked a table via phone, they didn't give us a table for 2. They told us to sit in two empty spots where a group of 6 guys was sitting. A bit weird, as they didn't apologize and behaved as if it was normal.

Omg! I just love this place!!! Great music ! , people ( service !!!), atmosphere ! I spend there the best Geburstag ! Thank you ! Highly recommend !!!
